Take the front and rear photos and write the colour / model. Write the gate tag on the slip (or with chalk on the vehicle); it is printed on the e-pass so the guard can match the vehicle at exit.

No ID scan for returning visitorsAsk only the mobile or vehicle number: a returning visitor's details fill in automatically. A resident's 6-character pass code fills the form too. When a visitor leaves, scan the e-pass QR on their phone or type their mobile to check them out.
Only verified members of the STPS colony can sign in. Guards see the gate register, residents see only their own visitors, and the security committee controls verification, the blocked list and gate settings. Visitor ID photos taken at the gate are never stored, and only the last 4 digits of an ID number are kept, in line with UIDAI's masking rule. Residents' own ID cards are stored privately and only the security committee can see them.
